Built around the same oscillating mechanism found in the Model 125, the Model 106 features a 3/4" x 9" long spindle to tackle your toughest sanding jobs. Our 2-1/2" dust port is "channeled" around the spindle. Consequently, when attached to a vacuum system, this machine runs virtually dust-free. Throw in a 17" x 21" ground-steel table top, quick-change drum stysem, large 20" diameter, tip-free base, 36" operating height, machined steel pulleys, 1/2 HP Baldor motor and the Model 160 would be at home in any shop. For the Model 100, we've used the same heavy-duty oscillating mechanism in teh Model 100, and reduced the spindle size to 1/2" diameter, 4-1/2" in length. This allows smaller radius sanding, while maintaining the reliability Clayton machines are known for. Don't be fooled by the smaller spindle size. This is one tough machine, built to work a full shift!
