Fair Haven, MI – HTC has announced that long time Marketing Manager, Adam K. Smith has been named to the post of National Sales Manager for the company effective December 22, 2008.  Adam is taking the position vacated by Steven Kuhr who remains on board with HTC Products, Inc. in a special project capacity.

According to HTC's General Manager Mark Cross, "Adam has been a huge part of HTC's success for many years and helped us to accomplish several important milestones in terms of sales growth and corporate identity.  Adam created a major marketing facelift for HTC including our websites and the strengthening of our Portamate brand.  Adam was instrumental in our success during a critical transition for the company, and we are excited that he accepted the new position as National Sales Manager to continue to lead our progress." 

Taking over the marketing reigns at HTC is Michael A. Lord who was previously under contract to Delphi Corporation.  Mr. Lord is a recent MBA graduate of Lawrence Technological University and has worked in product development, market research and marketing for over 20 years.  With the recent move in August 2008 to the new HTC Fair Haven Michigan headquarters, Mr. Lord will oversee additions to HTC's marketing resources including over 3,000 sq.ft. dedicated to the product showroom, a benchmarking woodshop, and a video-photographic studio.
